City of Ottawa Budget 2015

The City of Ottawa Budget for 2015 was tabled at the City Council meeting on February 4. Before the Budget is finalized at the Council meeting on March 11, there will be series of City-run public consultations. In last week’s column I noted all of the consultations scheduled across the city. I would like to remind Ward 5 residents that the upcoming session for the west-end area is happening on Tuesday, February 10, 7:30-9:30pm at Holy Trinity Catholic High School, 180 Katimavik Rd.

Also as a reminder, my annual Ward 5 public consultation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, from 7pm to 9pm in the Roly Armitage Hall at the West Carleton Community Complex, 5670 Carp Rd. City staff will be on hand to provide an overview, to answer questions and hear feedback from residents. Visit ottawa.ca/budget2015 for all the latest on the Budget 2015.
