Earlier Hours at the Kinburn Client Services Centre
To ensure residents have every opportunity to take advantage of the convenience of paying for fire permits, dog licenses, parking tickets etc., the Kinburn Client Services Centre will be open 7:30am to 3:30pm on the first Wednesday of each month for the next 6 months (August 5, September 2, October 7, November 4, December 2 and January 6, 2016). This is on a trial basis and will be revisited after January 2016 to determine practicality.

Speeding in Ward 5
I am receiving numerous calls to the office regarding excessive speeding on our roads. As in previous columns, let me reiterate to please contact the police if you witness speeding at 613-236-1222 ext.7300.
Police will only be aware of a problem area by the number of calls received. All complaints received by the police are entered into their records management system and are tracked. This allows them to monitor and identify problem areas, so that enforcement and other responses may be documented and assessed.
