Labour Day schedule changes

With Monday, September 7 being the Labour Day holiday, please remember there will be a number of City of Ottawa schedule changes. Of note, there will be no curbside, green bin, recycling or garbage collection on Labour Day. Labour Day’s pick-up will take place on Tuesday, September 8. In addition, the collection of green bin, garbage and recycling materials will be delayed by one day for the week. A full listing of all schedule changes will be found on ottawa.ca in the coming few days.

School starting soon – watch out for kids & buses!

Children will be back to school next week and I'd like to remind drivers to be extra vigilant on the roads, around school buses and in school zones. Please remember that vehicle owners can be fined from $400 to $2,000 and 6 demerit points if their vehicle illegally passes a stopped school bus!

Wishing all the kids of West Carleton-March good luck with the upcoming school year!
