Free skating on Family Day at the West Carleton Community Complex

I have sponsored two hours of ice time at the West Carleton Community Complex (Cavanagh Sensplex, 5670 Carp Rd) on Family Day, Monday, February 15. All residents are invited to take part in free staking between 11am and 1pm. Helmets are required. All minors must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. The canteen will be open for business. I look forward to a great turn out and hope to see you there!

Hockey Day in Ottawa

On Saturday, February 6, from 1-3pm, lace up your skates and take to one of the City’s outdoor rinks for a afternoon of fun. Enjoy a game of pick-up hockey, skating, and physical fitness while showing support for your community volunteers who work hard all winter to maintain your local rinks. Remember to dress appropriately and wear a helmet and applicable safety equipment. Visit for mapping of all outdoor rinks throughout the city, including the 8 rinks in West Carleton-March.
