West Carleton Adult Recreational Badminton Club – The West Carleton Adult Recreational Badminton Club invites players of all skill levels to participate in its winter season, on Wednesday evenings. Club members play each Wednesday, from 6:30pm to 10pm at Stonecrest Elementary School. Membership is open to those 18 years and older. A limited number of junior memberships (15-17 years old) are available for children of parents or guardians, who are members of the club, and are present with the junior member on club nights. Players of every skill level are welcome, from beginner to more skilled recreational participants. As a club member you can play at your own level, or if you wish you can play to improve your game. Players bring their own racquets and wear non-marking soft-soled shoes and comfortable clothing. The club supplies nets and birds. Participants pitch in with court set-up and take-down. Register on game night. For more information and costing to participate, call Randy at 613-623-8215, Sarah at sarahjmiller9@gmail.com, or visit the web site at www.badmintonottawa.com/WestCarleton.htm.
